TAPHOPHILIA

Ancient Greek τάφος (táphos, funeral rites, burial, funeral, wake; tomb, grave) + English -philia (from the Ancient Greek φιλία (philía, love, fondness).

For me a cemetery is a quiet sanctuary, a sacred space, an art gallery, an architecture tour, and a history lesson.

This selection comes from North America, Europe, and Northern Africa.
